We are delighted to welcome Dr Matt Mousavifard to the SunMed Clinic team. With over 16 years of
experience in General Practice, Dr Matt has earned a reputation as a highly thorough, organised, and
empathetic family doctor.

Originally from Iran, Dr Matt obtained his medical qualifications from Kerman Medical University. After
gaining eight years of valuable experience as a GP abroad, he relocated to Australia with his family in
2009. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and is dedicated
to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients of all ages.

Dr Matt is fluent in English and Farsi (Persian), allowing him to provide comfortable and clear
communication for a diverse range of patients within our community.

Dr Matt enjoys all aspects of family medicine, with particular expertise in:

Chronic Disease Management: Including Diabetes, Asthma, and Cardiovascular risk assessments.

Family Medicine: Comprehensive care for children (Paediatrics), Men’s health, and Women’s health.

Skin Health: Professional skin checks and minor surgical procedures/excisions.

Preventative Care: Health assessments, travel vaccinations, and lifestyle medicine.

Specialised Care: Antenatal/postnatal care, Geriatric (Elderly) health, and Palliative care.

Procedural Work: Minor trauma (Emergency medicine), Musculoskeletal medicine, and Implanon
insertion/removal.
