Ankita Jariwala
Physiotherapist

Professional Background
Ankita Jariwala is a dedicated physiotherapist with a deep passion for helping people regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love, whether it’s sport, work, or daily life. Her journey into physiotherapy began with a personal experience: a meniscal injury during high school that sparked her interest in rehabilitation and healing.
Expertise & qualifications
Ankita brings a wealth of clinical experience and a strong commitment to patient care, particularly in supporting individuals recovering from injuries, pregnancy-related changes, or managing chronic health conditions. With expertise across orthopaedic, cardiorespiratory, and neurological physiotherapy, she understands the unique challenges faced by those living with long-term conditions.
Her clinical interests include pain management, injury prevention, postoperative rehabilitation, and lower limb biomechanics. Before relocating to Australia, Ankita worked closely with podiatrists, gaining valuable insights into gait analysis and lower limb function. She integrates these skills into her therapy through a combination of manual therapy, muscle energy techniques for the pelvis and lumbar spine, dry needling, myofascial release, Western acupuncture, K-taping, personalised exercise programmes, and ongoing patient education.
Ankita’s favourite part of her work is building strong connections with her patients. She treats individuals of all ages and backgrounds and sees every interaction as an opportunity to learn and grow. Her approach is holistic, empathetic, and tailored to each person’s goals, whether it’s returning to sport or simply living life with more ease.
Outside of work, Ankita enjoys playing badminton, cricket, and tennis. She is fluent in English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Marathi, allowing her to communicate comfortably with patients from diverse backgrounds.
